The National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics was established on April 2021. The work and the archive material of the National Bioethics Comission is accesible here
Since March 2020, the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics (law 2667/1998) formed a high-level Group of Experts on COVID-19, in order to contribute significantly to the elaboration of Recommendations on crucial issues concerning the COVID-19 pandemics.
Acknowledging the remarkable contribution of the Group of Experts to the Commission’s work, the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics (law 4780/2021) renewed the continuity of the Group of Experts on COVID-19 pandemic issues and expanded its contribution into other crucial topics as well. Furthermore, the Group of Experts was replenished with new members such as reputable scientists from different scientific fields.
